Mutsai Hove Bird

Mutsai has been a ZHEST trustee since 2010.

She was born and brought up in rural Mberengwa, Zimbabwe. She currently has a portfolio career as a nurse, charities review consultant, and running a food business specialising in African cuisine. With over 20 years’ experience of working in health and social care, she has held senior management posts in both the NHS and the voluntary sector.

An active supporter of community development, she is passionate about improving access to education and education facilities for young people in rural communities in Zimbabwe. She is a governor of Swindon College and a committee member of the Britain Zimbabwe Society.

Mutsai lives in Swindon and enjoys gardening, baking, floristry and travelling.
